Do you need to rent the home to have an event?

Yes, in order to have an event at Westside Inn you must rent the home for a minimum night stay (4 nights in the summer & holidays, 3 nights all other times) and pay the additional event fee.

What does the event fee include?

The event fee covers use of the grounds for your event over and above the house max occupancy of 10 guests. It also includes self-service use of our chairs, tables, barrels, lights and arbor.

Do you have wedding packages?

We are not a full service venue. Couples are free to have a DIY event or hire one of the many amazing vendors in OBX to complete their vision. Refer to our vendor page for recommendations.

How can I arrange a tour?

Contact us by email, phone or contact form and we will set it up ASAP!

How many persons can stay at Westside Inn?

Westside has 5 bedrooms 3 1/2 baths and sleeps 10 people. We have 2 King bedrooms, 2 Queen bedrooms and 1 room with 2 Twin beds.

What time is check in and check out

Our property manager permits check in at 4PM and check out at 10AM.

Do you require particular caterers?

You are free to choose the caterer of your choice. See vendor page for recommendations.

Do you have event parking?

Yes, we have a cleared area along our service road as well as parking on the main driveway to accommodate up to 75 vehicles. For events we suggest hiring or designating individuals to assist with directing parking.

Do you offer tent rental?

We do not provide tent rental but can give you sample quotes for OBX tent vendors. See more on our vendor page.

Are you exclusively a wedding venue?

We can host yoga retreats, family reunions, birthday parties, Quinceaneras, vow renewals, corporate events, you name it!

Do you charge any additional fees?

Events require the purchase of event liability insurance which can be secured through our property manager Kees Vacations.

Do you allow pets?

We permit up to 2 well-behaved dogs at an additional fee. You must respect our next guests and clean up all waste from your dogs or additional fees will be applied.
